Monday's mail

Just a quick post on the outgoing mail I sent today (well, to be more accurate, the mail I gave to my boyfriend and which he then took to the letterbox on his way to university). I'm still working on more mail to send the next days, I think I only got 11 or 12 letters left that still need replies!

These are letters for which I have taken waaay to long to write and send them. The four international letters are on their way to the USA (twice), the Philippines and Togo. I love the new stamp! I bought it on friday, when everything I wanted to buy were 20 stamps of the face value of 20 cents - nope, I went out there having bought stamps for more than 30 Euros. But if you'd see them all... oooh, I love them.

This is the stamp I used for the letter going out to my granny. She invited us to her 80th birthday and I wrote her to tell her that we'd love to come :) Do you send letters to your grandparents?
I didn't have any incoming today, it's been a week since I last received anything. I guess once my pen pals get their letters and start replying I will get everything in a day or two again - it will surely take some time for my mail rhythm to even out again.

That's it from me, don't forget to sign up for the swap and take care!

Alles Liebe,

  1. Hi Caddi!

I have a surprise for you over at my blog...

I decided to give out two smaller prizes besides the big one and you won one of them. Turns out I don't have your e-mail address... Could you e-mail me perhaps?

    1. Thank you so much! I already sent you an email and I'm really looking forward to it!

  2. You sent really beautiful envelopes. :) I think it's cute that you send letters to your granny. I don't send to mine because she lives really close and I see her twice a week, but it's a nice idea to surprise her perhaps.
    Have a great week!

    1. Oh, you are lucky to have your grandma close! I don't see mine very often, maybe 3 times a year. I think it would be a nice surprise for your granny :)
Thanks, I hope you'll have an awesome time as well!

  3. I love the stamp too! I don't think I've sent letters to my grandparents in a long time but I do write postcards to them every once in a while. :)

    1. Aren't stamps amazing? I also send postcards to my grandparents, they receive one from everywhere I go on holidays and also some "in between". Do your grandparents write back?

Thanks for leaving your thoughts!
